The Company
Wilbs Shoes was created in 2005 as an idea. That idea was put into motion and two years later in the summer of 2007, Wilbs Shoes was officially release to surf and skate shops in both the U.S. and Canada. Wilbs Shoes currently has one style of shoes on the market as well as two styles of T-shirts. However, we have big plans for the spring of 2008. There is a line of shoes as well as an apparel line to be released. We will be previewing it at shows across the U.S. including Surf Expo in Orlando, Florida this coming January.

The Name "Wilbs"
After the idea was started and the shoe company was in its beginning stages, it was time to come up with a name for the company. After many suggestions the name "Wilbs" came to mind. The name "Wilbs" is the nickname of the owner Tom. His middle name is Wilbur and in high school people found this out and the name stuck. The nickname eventually evolved into "Wilbs".
