The Company
Wilbs Skate Shoes was created in 2005. Two years later in the summer of 2007, Wilbs Shoes could be found in 22 surf and skate shops in both the U.S. and Canada.

Today, in 2012, In our seventh year, our skate shoes can be found all over the world. We have a craft line of shoes that are hand made in the U.S. as well as the mass produced line that you see on the web site. For more information on the hand made shoes, contact us.

The Name "Wilbs"
After the idea was started and the shoe company was in its beginning stages, it was time to come up with a name for the company. After many suggestions the name "Wilbs" came to mind. The name "Wilbs" is the nickname of the owner Tom. His middle name is Wilbur and in high school people found this out and the name stuck. The nickname eventually evolved into "Wilbs".
