The Company
Wilbs Shoes was created in 2005. Two years later in the summer of 2007, Wilbs Shoes could be found in 22 surf and skate shops in both the U.S. and Canada.

Today, owner, 23 year old Tom Wrinn, revamped the company image from a marketing company to a craft manufacturing and marketing company. Every new pair of Wilbs Shoes is hand crafted in the U.S. and signed by the individual shoemaker that made them. Too many shoe companies have lost their craft and sold out to lower costs of cheap labor in the far east. It was always the dream of Wilbs Shoes to be able to hand craft our shoes.

Today, in 2010, we make shoes, accesories and apparel at our home on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. We can tailor to your needs, including use specific fabrics. Just contact us for more information.

The Name "Wilbs"
After the idea was started and the shoe company was in its beginning stages, it was time to come up with a name for the company. After many suggestions the name "Wilbs" came to mind. The name "Wilbs" is the nickname of the owner Tom. His middle name is Wilbur and in high school people found this out and the name stuck. The nickname eventually evolved into "Wilbs".
